This camera is a bargain. A reliable company - Samsung- with a camera with good specs of 10mega pixel and 3X optical zoom. The interface is very good and user friendly. It can be kept it auto mode and function very well no matter the environment it is shooting in. However,you can easily tweak the modes yourself for even better shots. The dial on the top keeps in the main modes and the turn of it shows what you select on screen with minimal effort. It doesn't look bad either!!

For £70 this is a bargain, and am well pleased I have one!!

I am now on my second one of these Samsung S760 Cameras.

Had to send first one back as the camera kept freezing, meaning you had to remove the batteries to get it to switch off and back on again.

Camera also had a problem where some pictures did not take at all, and came up with error on screen when you tried to review them, so if it had been an important pic you would really not be impressed.

Amazon have replaced and sent another as I have asked, which by the way is brilliant service from Amazon and would actually give them 5* for the way they have handled it, i'm very impressed with them, just not with this camera.

I DO NOT AGREE WITH THE LAST REVIEW.I HAVE JUST BOUGHT ONE AND THE PICTURE QUALITY IS EXCELLENT, I THINK MAYBE YOU HAVE GOT A FAULTY ONE.I HAVE TAKEN PICTURES IN THE DARK AND THEY ARE PERFECT.DAYLIGHT IS JUST THE SAME. I AM VERY PLEASED I BOUGHT ONE.

This is my first review of any kind and I must point out from the outset that I have limited photographic knowledge, so my opinion of this camera may matter little to you.
I was very please to pick this camera up for £79.99, an awesome price I thought at the time. The camera appears to be very well made with a good screen, fast start-up time and an intuitive menu system driven by a row and column of touch sensitive buttons. Movie mode was fine too, with the ability to zoom while shooting a bonus. It understandably picked up the noise of the zoom lens motor when driven during filming, however this was not intrusive on the recording. well...
i have this 1 and a 11.1MP and dont bother with this 1...
it has hardly any features built in
but i would sertnly get the
11.1MP samsung
its miles better also comes with a memory card
the mp is lower but a clearer picture and faster load times and everything

This is the best camera I have owned to date. I have been amazed with the quality of the shots plus I really enjoy using the wide angle lens. I makes so much sense having a lens like this, it just enables you to get much more in your pictures. The image stablization is also really effective, I haven't had any problems with blurred images even in low light. The screen on the back is big and bright which I guess you would expect from a Samsung and another thing I like is the battery seems to last a long time compared to my previous cameras. In summary this is a really simple camera to use, packed with features and takes great shots. Plus it looks great! My only critisicm would be that is doesnt come with a case which would have been nice!
