well what can i say pioneer in my book do the best dvd writers and at this price need i say more. i must point out the delivery was ultra fast i had this in my machine up and running in no time. thanks again for fast service would love to use you guys again in future

Pinnacle PCTV DVB-T STICK Nano

I've had this stick for around 6 months now. Upon installation on Vista (32 bit), I only installed the driver and not the viewing software. Pinnacle want a subscription for getting program listings every day, when Windows Media Center does this for nothing and I find it really good and easy to use anyway. The stick comes with a useless small ariel connection, for using the included ariel and also an adaptor for using a standard tabletop or roof ariel. This adaptor sticks out a fair bit and is therefore quite easy to break (yes, mine's is broken already). So in conclusion, the stick produces a good picture and sound, but dont use the pinnacle tv software and unless you're going to leave the ariel plugged in all the time, do expect the adaptor connection ... This compact drive is quiet, reliable and easy to fit.It works straight out of the box on my G4 Apple Mac running OSX 10.3.9. Simply plug in and reboot. Toast 7 found it immediately and I was writing in seconds. Cannot recommend this product too highly.

Pinnacle PCTV Dual Hybrid Pro PCIe

This compact drive is quiet, reliable and easy to fit.It works straight out of the box on my G4 Apple Mac running OSX 10.3.9. Simply plug in and reboot. Toast 7 found it immediately and I was writing in seconds. Cannot recommend this product too highly.

OK, the bad points first - Yes, the on-screen menu could be better, in fact it could be quite a lot better, and the supplied software is quite frankly useless. It is also a bit fiddly setting it up on a wireless network, but to be honest you're better off with a cable.

Now for the good stuff :
This is perfect for playing video, especially if you combine it with twonky media server software. OK, so it won't play everything, and chokes on some newer formats like AC3CM Audio and MKV files, but what it will play can be output at 720p HD through the component sockets. A video conversion program to convert to XVid with MP3 audio gives perfect results for this.

I've got excellent reception on my digital receiver in my daughters bedroom and this signal comes from the same split coax cable I've connected to Pinnacle from a high gain external aerial. Pinnacle has poor reception on most channels but when the reception's good the image quality is awesome.

The software is truly awful, its slow to respond, constantly crashes and then won't restart without a PC reboot and the EPG is useless.

I paid £18 for this and it's probably value for money because it is so cheap but don't expect miracles from this very poor PC DVT implementation.

Pinnacle Soundbridge HomeMusic

Dont buy a WEP enabled Soundbridge if you use WPA security. The WEP Soundbridge does not give you an option to upgrade from the SD card (contrary to the Pinnacle website advice). It is programmed to only look for an upgrade via the internet, so unless you downgrade your connection from WPA to WEP you can't access the latest software by any route. Catch 22! I have tried twice through on-lie chats to get Pinnacle to sort this out but they can't. They've now told me (after 12 months (and just out of guarantee) that they no longer give customer support for the WEP enabled model. Terrible service. Don't buy a WEP based Pinnacle Soundbridge and expect to be able to upgrade it to WAP whatever you do!
