I've been waiting for some time for lcd frames to come down in price and be offered by major manufactures at a reasonable price. This had now happened with Amazon and the Philips digital frame. The colour/image quality is very good and the interface intuitive - in essence you don't need to read the instruction manual. There are some downs, but at the price, you should live with these. Most notable, there is no internal storage so you need to use a memory card with the frame. This is probably currently in your digital camera so you'll need to buy a new one. These are very cheap though starting at far less than £10.

My advice is to buy this now.

Philips DVP3120 - DVD Player

Having got fed up of my cheapo £20 dvd player refusing to play some dvd-rw,I decided to buy a new one,namely the phillips DVP3120.On the box it clearly says"SIMPLY PLAYS IT ALL".I got it all EASILY set up and put in a problem RW-DVD and hey presto!it worked perfectly,but above all the picture was much better,which I didn't expect.So if you're after a cheap DVD that plays all,then look no further.It does exactly what it says on the box,and looks nice too.

Wish I had read the reviews on Amazon before purchasing this freeview box.

I originally bought it from Comet as I was after a freeview box for my bedroom. With my TV being a Phillips TV and with that never letting me down, I thought I could trust them when it came to the freeview box. They're a good, quality well-established make, but they well and truly let themselves down with this.

I regularly have to put up with it freezing that can happen at any moment, then this can only be fixed by pulling the plug out and putting it back in again. I thought it might have been down to my aerial, but not so after reading the many other reviews.

Also Film Four doesn't appear to work properly - I can hear the sound ... Read More:

PhilipsSHS8000/00 Earhook Headphones

If, like me, you are fed up with your earbuds falling out of, or your earphones falling away from, your ears, then this is the product for you - no matter how mad you run/row they don't fall out. BUT, if you want to appreciate the bass-line to your latest Trance compliation during your work-out - FORGET IT !! The bass response is non-existant, despite Philips' claim. In summary, make sure that you know what you want these for BEFORE you buy them.

Philips SVC2540/10 Plasma & LCD Screen Cleaner

I agree its a good product for removing finger prints, but I always end up with smears. I'm not sure how everyone else gets their TV's so clean with this product.

I wonder if there is residue now on the cloth. How should you clean these cloths?

I had this dvd player for 3 weeks and I must say that I happy with the quality of picture. Its easy to set up and is definitely multi-region. Followed the instructions left by one of the previous reviewer and it worked straight away. Colours are rich and clear using hdmi connection.
I am thinking of buying another one in the near future.
Highly recommended.

Sky Universal Remote Control - Black

This is the remote that works all the Sky Digital Receivers, it is the black version easy to use, nice clear display, with good size buttons.

This is not the Sky Plus remote you will need a Sky 110 remote for Sky+.

Philips SVC2520/10 - DVD Lens Cleaner

I've been having some issues with writing out Dual Layer DVD's on my Macbook Pro just recently, getting the dreaded 'couldn't calibrate laser...'

So, after reading a few of these reviews I decided to go for it and it appars to have done it's job!

A worthy purchase for DVD reading/writing issues!

PHILIPS MCM204/05 MP3/WMA Micro Hi-Fi System

really great product for the price. Its such a good looking thing, and has the capabilities to playback mp3s and wma which is a bonus. plug in any mp3 player or memeory stick and i works fine. Best function by far is the timer switch on function, which allows you to wake up to your mp3's, mw/fm radio or cd. Minor criticism however is that it takes some time to get used to setting it for timer, and that the mp3 sound quality is not so good, having to crank up the volume more than usual to hear it properly.

All in all, a great buy. Makes quite a change from my 25 yr old philips hi fi!
