Groove Buds Noise Isolating Hi-Fi Quality Ear Buds Earphone (Black)

I bought these in May this year and had them for a total of 3 months before I lost the sound in one earbud. The sound is good but they are essentially only effective for as long as they last, which isn't long unfortunately. My advice would be spend an extra few £'s and get a decent pair.

3.5mm socket to 2.5mm plug stereo adapter - MDA / PDA adaptor for earphone

This adaptor didn't work from the outset, it had to be twiddled and twisted in the vague hope that I would get a few seconds of audio through one ear.
Since it only costs 1p (a reflection of its true value in my opinion) and the main cost is the postage, it makes it 'not worth the effort' to try to return it. Very clever. Steer well clear. I have now bought a Sony adaptor with gold plated contacts on eBay ireland which works a treat and cost only a little bit more.

I read the great reviews for this product and expected something special even though they were cheap and i'd never heard of the brand before. Instead, i think these are just cheap headphones trying their hardest at pretending to be expensive.

Plus points:
- The in-the-ear design is comfortable and blocks out outside noise well.
- The cable is quite long.
- Sound is loud.
- Comes with useful airline adaptor etc.
- Bass is quite good and punchy.
- They seem quite solid.

One big Minus point:
- Definition is poor. Percussion sounds like it is being played 'next-door', through a wall. Far more inferior sound quality than the headphones that came with my ipod.
