I had the misfortune to purchase one of these machines from new. From the outset, it suffered from a slipping belt drive and would not play any of my 45's that my more sophisticated hi-fi system does perfectly - I only bought it to convert my vinyl to CD as my existing hi-fi system has no USB facility. The variable speed and extremely poor quality of sound made this item most unacceptable purchase.
To return it by Recorded Delivery to distributers costs more than the original p & p and you cannot recover the cost of returning by Recorded Delivery.
I would warn anyone not to waste their time and money on this machine!

From brand new records to the very oldest, the needle scratches, leaps and slides and can't maintain a track. The turntable is designed so badly that I have not managed to record a single track despite many attempts, so it's going in the bin. Waste of money.

I managed to buy one of these from elsewhere that did mention that it flicks repeatedly between date and time. These are selling for £99 elsewhere and when I saw one at £20 I snapped it up. Of course, it does this irritating date/time thing, which is described by other users below. I have just come across this thing for sale on here whilst looking for a new clock and thought i'd better warn others away from this. Mine is going in the bin.
