Recently on a holiday to France, I was forced to spend some time indoors (due to appalling weather). There was no radio/TV in the gite we were staying in, so I popped out to the local Dixons and bought these speakers for 14.

Bought them on the premise that I would leave them in the gite after I used them. But I ended up taking them home cause they are so good value for money.

The sound is not what you'd call bombastic, but for PC or MP3 speakers where you're not looking for amazing bass, these speakers are incredible.

Recommended for MP3 speakers to stick in a suitcase while abroad. Not recommended if you really like your sounds, good but not that good.

Labtec USB Number Pad for Notebooks

Spend your money on something else, this thing is completely useless. If you unplug it from your laptop to pack it up or whatever, when you plug the keypad back in the number lock button won't work so you can't actually use it to enter numbers - a pretty major flaw for such a device. The other functions such as the arrows still work but that's not really much good. The only way around the problem seems to be to unistall and then reinstall the software it comes with, hardly practical.

Spend your money on something else, this thing is completely useless. If you unplug it from your laptop to pack it up or whatever, when you plug the keypad back in the number lock button won't work so you can't actually use it to enter numbers - a pretty major flaw for such a device. If you're looking for a cheap, easy to set up webcam, this is for you. The quality isn't the best, but if you just want something to use on msn or yahoo messenger or whatever, this is excellent for £6.

I have bought four other webcams before this one, all were easy to use, of reasonable quality and all under £20. This just doesn't work on windows 2000, I had it going once after spending 2-3hrs setting it up, loading and reloading software and only when I signed up for a "FREE TRAIL" did i get it to work, then it crashed my laptop. So not deturred, I tried it on my pc, and, you guessed it, it crashed that too. Looks pretty but thats it.
