I have used these speakers for some time now. By present day standards they are on the large side but because of their shape they have a small footprint. They deliver good quality sound and can handle most sound levels. I am not sure that the " Surround Sound" On/Off button makes much difference.

Labtec Spin 50 LCS 1050

Many will dismiss the Spin 50's due to their low price bracket and lack of subwoofers, which is a real shame as they may be Labtec's "entry level" speakers but the sound they deliver is suprisingly accomplished, comparable with it's bigger brothers.

If you're the type of person driving around in a booming hot hatch, has a stereo with more lights than a cross channel ferry and have hearing that detects only bass drums, then the Spin 50's aren't for you. Try something else. For everyone else, these speakers really deliver more than their price implies. Crisp clean sounds, nice stereo seperation and a compact and attractive design that won't take over your desktop. Sound remains crackle and distortion free over a wide volume ... Read More:

Labtec has created a great package - performance and power under £40. There are not many 3-piece speaker systems for under £40.

If cash is tight but you want a system that does more than just produce loud distortion, but one produces crisp audio at reasonable volume levels, look no further than the Labtec LCS-2414.

Well I had been looking for a comfortable headset,as I had
been a user of Plantronics,I also wanted something that would
give me similar quality as Plantronics and these did not
disappoint at all for your...[money]... you get a pair of very light
weight behind the head strap style headphones and mic.
You soon forget you are even wearing them,sound quality is superb,the voice cancelling on the mic is one of the best I have
heard on a headset of this price,the mic itself is like a Flexi
