Labtec Wireless Optical Mouse 800 USB PS/2

Does exactly what I want. Using it with Vista without a problem - literally just 'plug and play'. I don't use it all the time but like to use it when working in excel and find that the batteries last much longer than stated! I can't say that I have noticed the weight to be any more than any other mouse and I do like the soft feel for handling.

An excellent buy!

Labtec USB Number Pad Laptop Refresh

I had previously bought a Logitech number pad but broke it through sheer stupidity. As I am a bit of a klutz I thought I'd replace it with a cheaper model. After all it couldn't really make much difference could it? Wrong.

This pad does do the job but it just feels plain nasty. And makes a loud sort of clicking noise every time you hit a button. A bit like a fischer price toy (sorry - not sure if I'm actually allowed to say that.) And it is just a number pad. The other one also can be used as a calculator if you can remember to change the setting.

Personally - and that really is a personal choice because I use this for work - I would rather pay the extra for a more grown up feeling and looking model.

Labtec ultra-flat keyboard

I bought this as a cheap alternative for the xbox keyboards used to speed up xbox live typing. I plugged it in, didnt even have to wait, and it worked. hasn't done anything wrong yet and has a good cable length, brilliant for 9.99

I bought this mouse thinking it was a USB mouse, but it plugs into an old computer!

I don't think it stated clearly what type of mouse this is.

If you looking for a USB mouse, please do not buy this.

Labtec Pulse 475 Speakers

Fantastic value at the price. These speakers produce good low and mid range noise. The treble comes out slightly high, but this can always be tweaked in winamp or similar.

Contrary to above, I think the speakers look nice!
The sub is nice and solid looking, and the whole package is of very high quality.

If I'd paid £50 for these I still would have been happy.

Labtec Ultra Flat Wireless Desktop USB

I bought this keyboard having decided my three year old dell one had seen better days, alongside the mouse. I purchased this based on its looks and wireless functionality.
I wish i hadn't. You get what you pay for, and you don't get quality. Typing on a standard basis is fine, but you cannot hit keys really fast (like you would anyway). The keyboard is USELESS FOR GAMES. You cannot press and hold down a single key, for example, to make your charcter run, because you'll keep stuttering or stop running altogether.
The mouse doesn't feel as "smooth" as a wired one. You can see this on the screen, when it moves, it feels likes it skipping a bit. I moved the reciever away slightly and the mouse just stopped working altogether.

First of all, I have two computers with different operating systems. I originally installed this cam at the beginning of 2007 on Windows XP 32 bit SP 2. The webcam installed fine on XP, all features function well.

Vista Problem
Initially I attempted to use the CD that came with the cam to install, but that failed. I then went to Labtec.com and ownloaded the installation software specifically for Vista. I installed the software and immediately noticed that the on-screen buttons/display was very different to the XP install. Well thats fair enough but their is no manual to refer to to get things operating. After an hour of experimenting I manage to get everthing working apart from the motion detector function.
