The article being supplied does not match the picture - only the anchor base plate itself is supplied. The cable/lock needs to be purchased separately if required. The steel base plate is of fairly solid construction (~3mm steel). However the cover that prevents access to the screws is very flimsy plastic and the screws supplied are very short. If installed using the supplied screws it would be trivial to removed the unit by either bending the plastic and removing the screws or by crowbarring the unit off. I recommend budgeting for some longer security screws, or considering whether there is somewhere you could rivet the unit to. Personally I use these plates creating a really solid anchor plate on the back of PC cases using rivets and large ... Read More:

I was after a DC convertor to allow me to use my Dell Inspiron laptop from a 12V supply while out and about.
This item fitted the bill exactly and comes with a lot of 'tips' to allow the use of most laptops from different manufacturers. It appears to be exactly the same os P/N 450-11303 from the Dell website.
Also has the tips for some of the following maufacturers laptops;
Acer, Fujitsu, Gateway, HP, Compaq, IBM, Lenovo, Sony, Toshiba.
As it's the same, this is from Dell's website;

I bought this item from Richer Sounds high street stores for £20.
Having previously considered the Bose docking station for £200, I decided for my bedroom I would give this item a go since it was so inexpensive.
I have been mightly impressed. Something you must remember is, generally, the music on your ipod is going to be in mp3 format, which is lossy anyway. You will never achieve CD quality sound from ANY docking station.
I rip my music at 192kbps mp3, and in my room the sound is fine. You will never be able to entertain a party of people with this, however as an alternative to your laptop speakers for general day-to-day use, it's perfect. Bass is fine (having heard bad things of the bass).
I have been using Vista since its beta, and have been using the Trackball throughout. This trackball Does work in a limited fashion in Vista - it has access to all 4 buttons (left, right, middle and backbutton clicks) which is perfect for use in 3D animations applications (personally use Maya). I have had no problems in anyway. There is no need to install software for use as a three button mouse - Vista will install the appropriate driver for you.
the scroll dial/spindle works perfectly as well - basically for me 3 primary buttons plus scroll and back buttons while working in all 3d apps is perfect.
I have 2 of them and an older expert mouse pro which is no longer supported by kensington under vista (vista only sees two buttons) ... Read More:
