I bought 2 of these flash drives for reasons not really mentioned in any of the other reviews.
I recently bought and installed a new Sony Radio/CD player for my car, and it has amongst other things a USB port for connecting external devices. I ripped & transfered several hundred music MP3's to my flash drive for use in my car. It does away with having to carry loads of CD's in the car (reduces the chance's of theft), you don't need a bulky CD changer in the boot, the tracks don't skip if you drive over some really bad road surfaces, you are not constantly having to change CD's while driving. Ordered on 3rd September but delivery was not until October despite it being in stock (unfortunately didn't notice as it only said on checkout). As Amazon Prime member I was dissapointed as I needed the items today. Hope this is not a sign of things to come from Amazon.

After reading other reviews I opted to buy this card reader. It does just what you'd want it to do....it reads cards. My computer recognized it straight away and all works very well. A good purchase.

To date, I've used this card reader to read both CF cards and microSD cards and the transfer speed is impressive: transferring a mixture of JPEG and RAW images from a 4GB (133x) CF card took less than four minutes, which is about 18MB/sec.

The device appears on your PC as five removable drives, one for each of the card slots, and it was quick to recognize and load the cards that I tested.

The only slight weakness is that the built in USB connector is on a very short lead, which may not prove practical if your USB ports aren't located near the front of your PC/laptop. However, an extension lead is provided with the card reader, so this isn't really an issue: just an extra cable to carry around with you.

Thought it was too good to be true. I bought 2 of them but had to pay for the delivery twice. Then when they came they were Transcend not Kingston. I could return them, but would I get my delivery cost refunded?
I unpacked one and it seems to work OK, so I'll live with them.

In my opinion it's mis-selling and if you want Kingston don't buy these.

Got this overnight from 'MyMemory' and it plugged straight into my system. No fuss whatsoever. I use a ASUS P4P800S-X motherboard and it is totally compatible. I will be getting another soon. Kingston are a well rated maker and this is no exception. Buy now at a great price!!

This item worked flawlessly after Maplins had decided to include 2 faulty sticks of 1gb memorey and as sooned as i dropped one of these items in my newly built computer was up and running.

this is highly recommend stuff by myself as ive installed about 13 of these in seperate computers and have always been spot on.
