Do NOT purchase this product if you have a new ipod nano 3rd generation (the tall thin ones that come in 8gb & 16gb). I have this and to be fair, it worked absolutely fine with my old nano (the short, fat one that was available in 8gb) but IT DOES NOT CHARGE the new generation nanos. Do not waste your money. If you have an older generation ipod however, these speakers are perfectly fine for the money.

Writing this 1 week after purchase and on the whole I am pleased with this unit. Spent weeks comparing this to the Klipsch etc, reading all reviews.... and in the end just gave up and went for this (the DAB clinched it).

Pros: very high quality weight and feel to it * Sound is very good (I was maybe expecting too much from reviews) * seperate BASS and Treble controls (I ramped the Bass up as i felt it was missing at default setting) * No transformer on lead (Didnt want an ugly brick sitting on worktop next to cable - cant remember which competitor has that on theirs?)

This is excellent value for money. As an amateur radio enthusiast I can recommend this receiver to anyone wishing to purchase their first wi-fi radio. Don't expect it to behave exactly like your domestic radio; as it is relatively slow to change from one station to another (partly dependent on your broadband speed). However even if you have only a passing interest in world radio this receiver will give you hours of fun; and of course there is recourse to hundreds of UK radio stations - ideal for those of us who wish to escape the bland output of the commercial multiplexes. This product is great. The sound is excellent and it is really small and stylish! I can highly reccommend it. NB it works with the ipod classic 80gb

I bought this docking station after reading good things about it on the internet and I was not disappointed.
Its really small and looks good, great for a students room and for moving around when having parties (like myself)
The only down side is that its too great when the volume is down low....but crank it up and its amazing. The incredible bass on this little thing never fails to amaze me.

Do not hesitate to buy this.Bought this for my 18 year old daughter to use with her 8 gig Nano and as soon as we cranked it up the sound from this little beauty was amazing and could handle any type of music thrown at it.I was more than impressed and would recommend it without hesitation.Buy it.Also has a great sub woofer which adds so much to the sound.Great.

This little item was bought for my daughter and was a great item! well made, decent sound from the small speakers, looks the biz!

Highly reccomended and well worth the money considering the money you pay. Intempo - once again bring another smashing item!

I entirely agree with J.Brand - just a pity that review wasn't up when I bought one. I played it for 10 minutes and found the sound so awful and tinny that it went straight back to Amazon !

I had many reservations about buying these speakers but after reading the Amazon reviews and not wanting to spend £100 on Apple speakers, I decided to go for these when they were £19.99.

Yes, you get what you pay for in the ever-so slightly cheap looking plastic, however it's nothing to worry about and the sound quality is excellent. Easy to install and use; my iPod nano looks great in it. Would definately recommend.

Why Amazon have this thing paired with an Ipod Touch I'll never known - surplus of stock maybe...
If you - like me - are just about to buy an Ipod Touch and want a docking station to go with it I recommend you DO NOT buy this one.
It works fine (hence the 4 stars - music sound is deep and clear), however, due to the Touch's polished metal back it conducts the electrical charge when sitting in the docking station.
Yes, if you go to retrieve or replace it whilst the power is still on prepare yourself for an electric shock - and not a small one either.
