This pocket sized speaker produces an excellent sounds with ample bass and at a very surprisingly loud volume. Really great product.

After reading many reviews of these speakers i knew i had to give them a go. So i ordered them from amazon.co.uk and they arrived today. As soon as i took them out of the box they looked like they were going to be good. You had all the cradle types needed, and 5 different plug adaptors so if you want to take them to Korea or America or pretty much anywhere in the world, you can. Plus the speakers can also run off battries but i`m sure you already knew that. Anyway i plugged my new speakers in and attached my ipod classic, selected a track which i knew for certain would test these speakers. Mindfields by The Prodigy. Altec Lansing InMotion IM4 Portable Speakers

I have been searching for portable speakers for a while, if you are looking for something taht is:-
a) Portable
b) Battery powered (with mains option)
c) Not limited to iPod's only (3.5mm jack input)
d) quality sound
Then the iM4 is perfect. The JBL on tour was a close second an is probably slightly louder but the iM4 wins on sound quality and the MaxxBass technology is impressive. For holidays, hotel rooms and on the balcany with a beer it's the perfect choice.

Really impressed with these speakers, top sound quality, only improvement would be a remote control.

Would highlight the excellent service received from Pixmania (Amazon Market Place)...very speedy delivery, with the speakers arriving over a week before the MP3 player that I ordered directly from Amazon!

Hesitated before buying but absolutely no reservations since doing so. Really great quality sound upgrade for any laptop. Straight plug and play with Vista...neat carry case.

Anyone who is looking for or prefer a portable, simple sound system for uni or office without the added wires and bulk, or who simply need the space, this is a perfect choice.

They look fabulous, build quality is good and the product has some weight for stabilty on a desk but also to reproduce sound accurately - which surprisingly responsive with deep bass without a separate sub!

Power, volume, bass and treble are conveniently located behind a pivoting door. Has a headphone jack for private listening, shielded for use near video monitors, as well as polished, piano-quality black finish.

Altec Lansing AHP712 Active Noise Cancelling Stereo Headphones

Like many purchasers of noise cancelling headphones in this price range I dont have £200-£300 for high-end Bose ones, so I settled for the Altec Lansings.

The noise cancelling works good enough, and for me they made a few long haul flights tolerable. I was able to listen to music and in flight entertainment clearly at a reasonable volume. Audio quality is not brilliant but satisfactory. There is an element of hiss when the noise cancellation is active but the tradeoff between the hiss and noise reduction is worth it. Unlike most other noise cancelling heaphones in this price range they are full sized, fully enclose the ears and are very comfortable to wear.
