for the price these speakers deliver a superb sound. compatible with i pods,all mp3s and portable cd players.

i couldn't find them cheaper elsewhere.

I already have a very good set of Ipod speakers but i just wanted some small cheap ones to take on holiday. I read all the reviews and was a little sceptical at first but if they're rubbish i'd lose less than a tenner, so i decided to give them a go. Well they arrived in good time and i have to say for the money i'm very impressed! Some of the reviews said that they weren't very loud but i think they're great, more than loud enough for me and they'll be perfect for those late afternoon's when we'll be in our hotel room getting ready. I have to say for the money i have absolutely no complaints!! Well done Mr Lupo!

Works perfectly, but really eats batteries. Best to use the in-car cable it comes with.

The in-car cable also has a USB slot in, probably to charge mp3 players with, but if you have a USB to USB cable you can use it to power the device from your pc.

I didn't like the phones that came with my K850i,they kept falling out of my ears, the only ones i can wear are the in ear ones.So i saw these on Amazon and they looked ideal exactly what i was looking for,and at a good price too.They arrived pretty quickly,they look ok for £5 jobbies much better then my £9.99 Maxell phones.I honestly can't fault these for sound output and clarity and the base sounds ok too,even on the Megabass setting on my K580i.I would and have recommended them to friends.

For the money, I guess this isn't a bad little machine, but I'd agree with all the other people who've said that it's a bit too quiet. In an otherwise quiet environment it's fine, but out in the real world, even at full volume, it really doesn't cut the mustard. I find it loud enough for rock music, but pretty useless for talking books, on the street or on the train, and especially on planes. You can't hear a damn thing! I'm not a big classical listener, but I also find that orchestral stuff isn't as loud as it might be. Listening to a Star Wars soundtrack the other morning as I walked to work, I could barely hear it even at full volume, and the road I was walking alongside wasn't THAT busy. I bought this cd player recently and I'm very pleased with it. The sound quality is good and it's easy to use. The only annoying thing I've come across so far is the bleeping every time you press a button, but there are instructions in the manual so you can disable that function. There have been a few criticisms in these reviews of the volume on this model, that it's restrictive and can't be turned loud enough. I've tried playing many different styles of music on my player (including classical), not particularly quietly, without even reaching the halfway mark on the volume control. I don't think it's any different to any of the other models I've owned in that respect, and I certainly don't find that it's a problem or spoils my enjoyment of the music. Perhaps ... Read More:

As soon as i got the speakers i eagerly tested them with the batteries and also using the mains.
i was pleasantly surprised at how long the power lasts with the batteries i used (1000mAh uniross rechargeables) and the sound quality and volume produced.
Definitely a must buy for your ipod if you have a strict budget, definitely value for money.
A pity about the design of the docking base... absolutely useless as it's impossible for the ipod to sit in the way the image displays with the jack connecting at the bottom, sticking out.

It really deserves a 5 star rating if it wasn't for the poor design of the docking base!

Bought this to replace a broken (different) one; use it in the bathroom for those long dips in the tub. Used it a couple of times and it does the job, simple as that.

Only use the wind up function and it holds the charge longer than the old radio used to, I presume this is due to technology advancing, so I get more radio time for my exertions!

Great piece of kit, well worth the money.

I found the headphone socket is not of the same high quality as the rest of the unit. You have to play arround with it to get it to work and it tends to jam. Mechanicially its not solid. I used Dell and Sennheiser phones, both had problems.

As a general grip about Alarm/Radios including this one. They all seem to be designed to cut the alarm sound over to the headphones when inserted. To my mind the alarm should always be on the speakers regardless of the use of headphones. Otherwise you are probably going to miss it!

I have found pure gold in the hunt for a decent DAB radio in this product. Its stylish, easy to use and the sound quality is wonderfull. It is mains or battery operated , has a sleep timer and is a good weight and size. I am well impressed. The delivery by Amazon was quick and efficient too.
