I've had my iTouch for 2 weeks and absolutely love it - well, at least the music side... When it comes to e-mail and downloads (iTunes, maps and so on), I still can't access them. So this is very disappointing. I have a Livebox (Orange) and although my iTouch seems to identify the Livebox, it cannot connect to it. Tried several dozen websites for tips and troubleshooting, but in vain...
In conclusion, great for music and pictures but 0 for connection to the Internet.
Will update this, should I manage to sort the connection problem.

I was bought an iPod 16gb for christmas, my first MP3 player. It was a generous gift but my wife only bought it because she liked the gimmicky photo rotation trick. Even that does not work properly sometimes - angling the photo at right angles to how I want to see it. As a music player i don't think it is anything special - maximum volume can come across as quite quiet on some recordings. It's a pain to adjust the volume while playing music: first press the menu button, then slide finger across screen to activate controls then adjust volume setting. Not exactly as simple as rotating a wheel on an iPod classic!
Video picture quality is good, but fast forwarding and rewinding is tricky to control since the scroll bar is so small you can ... Read More:

I admit to being a total gadget freak, and I bought this little gem because I spend 3 hours a day on a train. Even with my gadget dedication, I sometimes find the gadgets I buy a little too complicated, and often end up not using them as they should be used. Imagine then, my delight, when I discovered how easy the Archos is to use. I set it up to record programmes I don't have time for in the evenings and watch them on the way to work in the mornings. I've converted DVDs and loaded them onto the Archos, and I took the entire season of Huff with me on holiday - in case of bad weather. Being able to watch a full-length movie on a relatively short plane journey helps the time pass that much quicker. I use my Archos 605 (160G) every day, and I wouldn't ... Read More:

Having established myself that the Archos 605 does not support Audible Audio files (.AA format), I asked a simple question of their technical support team. My question was "are there any plans to support the Audible format?" I just got a blunt response which did not answer my question and just said that this is not supported by the unit. At the very least, they could have said "we do not have any plans at this time".
Apart from that, the product is great, and I've already got the DVR unit on order, and very tempted by the TV+ station.
It's such a shame that Archos are firstly being let down by their tech support, and secondly that they don't support the Audible format. I can live with the latter, but not being patronised by ... Read More:

By far the best player I've used but it's not perfect!
Unlimited storage! Ok so NOT unlimited but if you run out of space just pop a microSD card in the slot. Since 4Gb cards are about 7 quid? That means ALOT of storage.
Easy to use user interface, even my girlfriend can use it ;)
Good video playback but not perfect. A decent size screen for watching re-runs of south park on the way to uni :) But it breaks up the vids into 15 min chunks, the player automatically connects them all together but there is a noticeable pause between chunks.
Customisable EQ; I'm not sure if the Ipod has this function. But its something I've never seen before on any player I've had, you usually get the presets: rock, pop etc but ... Read More:

I bought this player a year ago. It has to be the most brilliant player on the market. My player has been through a 40 degrees wash when i left it in my pocket. I emailed Creative and they gave me a patch to load onto it that made it work again. It works perfectly! The headphones it comes with aren't the best but they aren't bad! It plays video, has a radio and everything. Not good for watchin movies on but hey! I love it. If you want a big screened player with what this player has and more get a 4GB or 2GB Veho Mii for only £40!!! It is another brilliant player at a low price!
This internet radio is all about simplicity and choice.
I purchased this radio from amazon, it was delvered within 2 days,
out of the box, and the radio was connected and receiving an almost unlimited choice of stations within 5 minutes.
Getting the media streaming from my computers media files took maybe another 5 to 10 minutes longer, but again this was very simple to do, although you really need to be running windows media player 11
to make it a doddle.
Sound quality is very good, depending on bit rates be received.
I am very happy with this radio and would reccomend it to anybody.

Bought the 555 Model a week ago very impressed. Did not have any problems loading software found it very straight forward I would say I have average technical knowledge. Only downsides were LCD screen allows 4 function options at a time and function options assigned to the LCD screen were not logically laid out but this was easy to remedy if a little time consuming. I decided to get another remote for downstairs and move the 555 upstairs. Decided on the 785. Very pleased with both, would recommend the 785 because of charging dock and larger LCD screen allowing 6 options at a time. Minor niggles on 785 are flimsy USB cover and no option to vary back lighting. Even taking into account these niggles easy 5 Star rating for both. I
