Fundementally this product did not work for me. During the course of my 20 mile journey to work in the fringes of the W. Mids conurbation I think it was only listenable for a 3 mile stretch of the M5, otherwise it constantly cut out, or could not receive the station I wanted to listen to at all. It has the makings of a great product, but at present, certainly in my area, the DAB signal simply isn't strong enough to support it. At present it's not fit for purpose.

As another reviewer said, lucky Amazon make it so easy to return items. I plugged the first one in, didn't work, but I thought I'd give it another chance as all the other reviews were so good. Second time it didn't work, I asked for a refund.

Hubby wanted a DAB radio - neither of us are technophobes, but which product do you choose if you don't want to spend the rest of your life working out how to use it!? Assessing reviews and considering the cost of the product, I chose this one. Really pleased - very user friendly and excellent reception. So good, I've just bought another 2 (as pressies)!

Volvo S60, no option to change stereo, no aux in, no cassette so no cassette adaptor... it had to be an FM transmitter.
The first 'cheapo' one I had was fine - proving that they can work in my car - but died. When it came to replacing it I chose this one on the basis of features-for-the-money. I did extensive reading on-line in an effort to choose a 'works for definite' one... found that they all have good and bad reviews and I suspect that it's more to do with 'works fine in this or that vehicle' than the products themselves.
As well as playing music (well) through my car stereo (and loud enough - a challenge for UK iPods with cheapo transmitters)... it has the added bonus of the RDS transmission so I can see who is ... Read More:

ive used this twice now to charge my radio and i have only got 10hours play back time on each occassion.dont know if the batteries drain quickly because it isnt a very strong signal where i use it ,or that it depends on how lloud you have got it on.all in all i found this product fairly useful.
I do a lot of presentations with my job, and wanted a reliable & simple means of controlling Powerpoint etc remotely. This does the job perfectly.
It's plug & Play (both on my XP machine, and also my MacBook) and has controls to enable you to: -
1. Move forward (i.e. page down in PPT)
2. Move backward (i.e. page up in PPT)
3. Blank the screen (i.e. pressing B in PPT)
4. Fire the laser pointer
It fits nicely into the hand, too, and the USB receiver stick clicks into the body of the handset for easy storage. Obviously it works for other applications, too, and not just Powerpoint. It just emulates the keypresses shown above, so you can view PDFs, Word docs etc in the same way.

I too read lots of reviews, having heard the Bose SoundDock but not wanting to spend that much money. The im600 is a nice little design, but not even in the same league as the Bose. I bought the im600, but have returned it, and bought the Bose. Once you have heard a Bose system, nothing else comes close. Whilst the im600 sound is clear, it lacks the round, warm depth and crystal clarity the Bose delivers. If you really love your music, quality doesn't come cheap, I'm afraid. My advice is to listen to the Bose soundDock before deciding.

Loved its neat shape, easy to set up and great range of options BUT the one REALLY annoying thing is that the display dims when the light goes off, so, with admittedly less than perfect vision I cannot read the time in the dark. The Whole Purpose of having an illuminated display!!!!

I got this as an xmas present off the wife and was hoping for so much. First build quality. The unit itself is made of metal but the buttons are made of cheap, tacky plastic. Surely it would not have added to the cost too much too use metal buttons too. Reception ain't that great either, you cam nudge it half an inch and the reception just goes. Not sure what they mean by personal but I would no recommend it as for music on the move. I use it to listen to foot ball while away from home and it sometimes cant even find radio 5. If Dab is the future, then lets stay in the present

I bought this as a secondary unit to an iTALKonline transmitter, and while I have probably been spoilt by that piece of kit, I honestly wasn't expecting the Roadtrip to be as bad as it is.
Firstly, the basic fitting is not quite long enough to fit into the cigarette lighter and allow me to actually see and use the ipod. Due to the angle of the socket in my car (Audi TT), the ipod ends up pointing towards the floor, making it difficult to change tracks etc.
Also, the extension arm supplied is way too long and the unit is too heavy to be supported safely by it, leaving it sticking out too far and waggling around.
Secondly, the sound quality is dreadful - far too quiet and when the volume is wacked up to compensate, the resulting FM hiss ... Read More:
