I love my ipod. I use it every day. It got me through all my revision and i dont know how i lived without it. But this week it has stopped working on me and im fairly sure that this is the worst day of my life. Can anyone tell me how to fix my ipod?? It wont turn on and if it does, it turns off again before i can do anything with it. It sometimes wont even turn off!!! Its really confusing and i would love to know if there is anyone who knows where i can get it fixed?? in Northern Ireland. This is the most amazing bit of kit and the most used Christmas present anywhere!! I need it!! Please Help me!!

Fantastic little player. I defy you to find better at this price!
Beware: Initially, I couldn't get Windows to see it. All it took was a USB setting change in one of Sansa's menus, but as the player was supplied discharged and the menus aren't available when connected to (powered by) the computer it was a bit chicken-and-egg to get it going.

For the money, I guess this isn't a bad little machine, but I'd agree with all the other people who've said that it's a bit too quiet. In an otherwise quiet environment it's fine, but out in the real world, even at full volume, it really doesn't cut the mustard. I find it loud enough for rock music, but pretty useless for talking books, on the street or on the train, and especially on planes. You can't hear a damn thing! I'm not a big classical listener, but I also find that orchestral stuff isn't as loud as it might be. Listening to a Star Wars soundtrack the other morning as I walked to work, I could barely hear it even at full volume, and the road I was walking alongside wasn't THAT busy. I think I can reasonably expect the London Philharmonic ... Read More:

I bought this cd player recently and I'm very pleased with it. The sound quality is good and it's easy to use. The only annoying thing I've come across so far is the bleeping every time you press a button, but there are instructions in the manual so you can disable that function. There have been a few criticisms in these reviews of the volume on this model, that it's restrictive and can't be turned loud enough. I've tried playing many different styles of music on my player (including classical), not particularly quietly, without even reaching the halfway mark on the volume control. I don't think it's any different to any of the other models I've owned in that respect, and I certainly don't find that it's a problem or spoils my enjoyment of the music. Perhaps ... Read More:

This is a great player for the price Who needs a ipod anyway. The software is nice and colorful although a little childish looking, but easy to use. Has cool functions like movies and E book. I recommend this product as a very nice replacement for the over priced ipod.

You know when you stand outside the room the music's coming from and you wonder what might be playing it? The first time I did that, it was my parents' 1960s HMV stereo radiogram - five feet wide with big elliptical speakers at either end and a valve receiver in the middle. The cabinet was made out of wood, there was plenty of metal and not a sign of plastic - a bakelite knob here and there - but that was about it.
The sound was euphonic rather than pure hi-fi. But the Top 40 on a Sunday night sounded good. The bass rumbled away, voices soared out of the cabinetry and Tommy Vance seemed as if he was, if not exactly in the room, at least very close by. It was the best that Patsy Gallant ever sounded.
And that's what the Creative Soundworks ... Read More:
I actually paid £4 for this then it went down to £2 the day after, it's a pointless piece of kit. The skin covers everything apart from the screen, what the fr*g is the point of that? You cannot even use the scroll wheel when it is on. Don't waste your money!

This product has the dimension and style of a biscuit tin, 'buzzers' that beep and an FM aerial that looks as if someone in the design department realised "Der crumbs Maisey, we forgot the FM aerial" just as the first batch was coming off the assembly line. Apart from that, it's fine.
As with other Sony items, the plastic casing feels solid and built to last. The sound is fine for a unit of this price with enough volume to reach the far side of a double bed :) The radio works well on FM but AM reception is hampered by the sheer number of radio stations elbowing each other for bandwidth. Consequently AM selectivity is not great. The FM aerial consists of a length of thin wire issuing from a hole at the rear of the unit which is why I think it was added late in ... Read More:
