Still leagues ahead of anything else, season 5 of The Wire IS the weakest so far, and anyone who's watched all five cannot fail to agree. That is to say it is the only less than perfect season out of all of them so while it pains me to find any fault with any of it at all I think the focus should be on the incredible consistency of the show in it's entirety. I've watched each one year on year and it's heartening to see everyone else FINALLY glomming onto the fact that this is the possibly the single finest television series yet made. Hyperbole you say? For once it is not. As good as The Sopranos is, that other HBO stablemate looks like a cartoon next to this modern masterpiece. Now, having praised it in it's completeness it has to be said they ... For those people (like me) who didn't realise this is half a season I have found out the following:
This is the first 10 episodes.
The last 10 episodes will be released in the UK under the title of 'Season 5' (hence the 'Season 4' title of this one).
This UK release will also include 'Razor' (although I can't find any confirmation of whether it will be the extended version of 'Razor'). It will also included deleted scenes and a sneak peak of the 2nd half of the season.
If, like me, you haven't bought Razor yet then this is still a good way of getting your BSG fix. Especially as I'm getting this as a birthday present.

Thought I'd have a quick peep when it dropped on my doormat, ended up watching all six episodes in the same day! Can't wait to watch the second series.
A great series that thankfully doesn't fall into the obvious sit com scenarios that you think it's going to.

I watch lots of films from Afghanistan, Iraq and Iran and after reading the fantastic book I had high hopes for the film. Some parts - probably the bits set in Afghanistan were good, but on the whole I found the film unsatisfying. Rushed and even confusing if you hadn't read the book. Prime example - after he had been beaten up and was in the hospital, the tension created in the book when it seemed everyone may catch up with him was unbearable, but ommitted from the film! A wasted opportunity. Please please don't ruin Thousand Splendid Suns by making it into a film!!!

Fans of the Boosh will delight at the exploits Flight of the Conchords, the self-styled 4th most famous New Zealand folk-parody duo. This is a comedy show that takes a little from many of the best comedy shows from the past decade and then mixes it all up in a relatively fresh and gloriously quirky way. The deadpan humour of the Office is highly evident as are the flights of comedic whimsy and humourous fantasy one might find in any Boosh show. The offbeat tone will appeal to anyone who loved Napoleon Dynamite and the musical numbers (some of the best musical comedy I've heard in recent years) come across as a mix between Bill Bailey and a less rude Tenacious D (in improvisational tone anyway). Bret and Jemaine play off one another superbly and are ably supported by unsung ... Read More:

I have always been a fan of the series and have loved it from start to finish. As soon as I heard they was doing a film, I knew I HAD to see it! They really could not have done a better film and even my boyfriend who I dragged along to watch it loved it too! It feels like I've been waiting forever for this film to come out on DVD but its now here and I will definatly be buying my copy! Definatly have some tissues ready because if your not crying, you will be laughing. It's a truely fantastic film!

******Possible Spoiler******* This film could have been great, or at least very good, but I found it was let down by a juvenile humour and less than great dialogue. If one can overcome the discomfort of a comedy based on the accidental shooting of a child (as a parent this is tough) the plot is great and some of the humour clever and well timed. But in the end, I left the cinema feeling let down. I won't see it again, and would suggest there is better viewing elsewhere.

I bought this for my wife and was really looking forward to sitting through another great season of Prison break but this is only half the story..! Due to the writers strike in Hollywood this is only a 12 episode set so you only have half the viewing of a normal series. Still the Series is good and the general theme and action moves on well from Season 1 & 2 and has quite a different feel to it. If you are a fan of the series you will really enjoy this and despite it only being half the story I would still recommend it.
