I have never seen a funnier film (maybe apart from 'Planes, Trains and Automobiles'). I will enjoy this film for as long as I live. I would recommend it for 9-?.

The basic plot is that three boys are just starting high school. Soon they attract the attention of the school bullies. These guys will not leave them alone. So much so, that they put up an ad for a proffesional bodyguard. They get numerouse responses, all of them impressive, but too expensive. Step in Drillbit Taylor. Posing as a retired bodyguard of former presidents and Sylvester Stallone and a war veteran, he offers affordable prices. The boys hire him.

After all the hype, and after loving the first album, I thought I'd give the film a go. It isn't too bad, I was expecting more belly laughs than I got, but it is a genuinely amusing film that will kill a few hours on a Sunday afternoon. A few moments do make you chuckle out loud and there are some great cameos. Jack Black is his usual gurning, swearing, hilarious self and KG comes out with some great lines as well. Don't expect too much, but do expect a great film that doesn't take itself too seriously and that will raise a smile.

It isn't too bad, I was expecting more belly laughs than I got, but it is a genuinely amusing film that will kill a few hours on a Sunday afternoon. A few moments do make you chuckle out loud and there are some great cameos. Jack Black is his usual gurning, swearing, hilarious self and KG comes out with some great lines as well. Don't expect too much, but do expect a great film that doesn't take itself too seriously and that will raise a smile.

"Good Luck Chuck" is one of those movies where you don't really know whether to admit that laughed your way to stomach cramps through the entire film or that the movie was a bit over the top.

"Good Luck Chuck" is about Chuck/Charlie, who is a dentist (why doesn't my dentist look like that?) and quite the good luck charm. After a woman's been with Charlie, the next man she dates will be a keeper. And of course the hexed Charlie falls in love. Okay, so far it sounds like a chick flick that will make every guy yawn, but first of all Jessica Alba plays the love interest/penguin-obsessed catastrophe waiting to happen and the comedy.... If you want a funny, quirky and light-hearted movie that the whole family can enjoy, then look no further than Nacho Libre. I found everything to be brilliant about this film....the story (of an underdog friar in 70s Mexico with a strong desire to succeed in the "sinful" world of wrestling),the acting, the production design.... EVERYTHING! Jack Black is absolutley brilliant in this. This film is not for the cynically minded as it deals with things like hopes and dreams etc....so if you like funny yet warm success stories this is for you.
