I bought this after a C-section as I couldn't do much exercise for weeks afterwards and wish I'd bought it to do throughout my pregnancy as well. Its very, very gentle so a bit of a shock if you're used to high-impact stuff like me, but its perfect to use throughout your whole pregnancy (and better than doing nothing at all) and straight after giving birth while you're still a bit fragile and self-conscious. Its easy to follow and, wonderfully, Davina actually looks pretty big when she's doing the pregnant work-outs and a bit wobbly in the post-natal ones - great for lifting the spirits :)
Money well spent if you do this a couple of times a week for 9-12 months.

This is probably the weakest set of episodes of the new, revived show's first season. A pity given that they conclude the series.
Boom Town is the "time out" episode, before we rush headlong to the finale. Any reservations anyone may have about the Slitheen should be allayed by Annette Badlands's excellent performance as the alien in the skin suit. The centrepiece of the episode is essentially a set of two-handed scenes between Eccleston's Doctor and Badlands's Margaret and this kind of thing is what the license fee is for. It's a pity she has to be an evil alien monster intent on destroying the earth for profit - the restaurant scenes represent an acting masterclass from two of the industry's finest professionals.

I'm trying to get fit after having a baby a year ago and thought I'd try a workout DVD to get myself going. Davina McCall seems to have fronted quite a few recently and she's looking pretty fit, so here goes... Anyway, this exercise programme is divided into three thirty minute workouts, which seek to tone and work every muscle in your body, so far so good. The first workout, 'the pump' is interval cardio training mixed with loads of lunges, squats and abdominal exercises and although I walk everywhere, the lunges and squats were *really* difficult and I felt it for the next few days. The second workout is called 'cardio box' and it's a mixture of cardio and kickboxing moves, which are pretty fab. The third and final one, 'core stability' is ... Read More:

This is a really tough workout especially for the bum and legs! I love the fact that it broken down into sections so you can pick and choose the area on your body you want to work out. It's definately the toughest of all davina's workouts.

the 'talents' lurking and skulking behind this snide, obnoxious 'work' are exploitative charlatans who milk the most vulnerable, braindead, unthinking elements in society today: i.e.fans of this rancid, unsavoury feces....
I have already been criticized for daring to speak out against this, er, 'show', but I feel it represents a particular low-point in the field of non-entertainment, I cannot see a single point of merit within this uninspired dross, on any level [even taking into account the undemanding requirements of the low-grade viewers it is aimed at].
'don't watch it'I am repeatedly told, and this is sound advice I wholeheartedly accept.

------more feeble pseudo-comedy from this painfully unfunny, criminally boring 'comedy' canon. Here, the usual unsatisfactory mix of rambling, unconnected sketches hosted by the useless, non-amusing, AVID MERRION reach a new low, with low-budget production values and particularly dire 'scriptwriting'.
Fair enough if some people actually enjoy this stuff, [we can't ALL like the same stuff], but I feel that this material does nothing whatsoever to advance the field of comedy, and there is absolutely nothing clever or impressive to admire within this appalling garbage. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

'BO SELECTA' fans appear to be, in the main, geeky, nerdy types who repeat the banal catchphrases from the show ad-nauseum, without adding anything original of their own.
If you don't believe me, please consult the viewer's comments on this subject on 'youtube'; the level of 'debate' is as inane and banal as that found anywhere.......there really is something wrong with human society, as this appalling, cripple-minded and stodgy release testifies.
---the only REAL humour is comes from watching rank amateur MERRION [who 'helms' this sorry mess] blunder his way through the ill-thought-out, scattershot sketches, which betray the team responsible for this series' utter lack of technique, or basic understanding of how COMEDY can be put together ...
