He's 7 months old, and does not cease to enjoy this book. He wants to hear it over and over again, and is always happy and excited when we read it to him. If you only get one book for your baby- get this one!

These books are a fantastic partner to the range of baby einstein videos. My daughter recognised quickly the characters. The pictures are bold and bright and grabbed her attention. The poems are catchty and engage my daughter. She has enjoyed looking for shapes in the pictures and I have pointed out the shape words in the text. A must for toddlers and parents.

Elmer that coloured elephant is our 15 month old child's favourite book. We have put all of his books into a box and when we offer the box to him, again and again he chooses "Elmer's Hide-and-seek" for us to read. This book has helped us to introduce actual hide and seek with his toys and he just loves it. Our son also enjoys opening the flaps to reveal the animals beneath them - very often lifting the flap before the text has been read. Outstanding and another winner from the Elmer series.

This book is a big favourite with my two year old daughter. She enjoys the rhymes and loves to spot items in the pictures - although the illustrations in this book appeal much less to me than other Nick Sharratt books, it seems to make no difference to her. A good 'colours' book for very young toddlers.

This book has simple but effective text and illustrations, and a lovely story about three white mice who find some paint and experiment with mixing up the colours. My daughter (aged 2 3/4) just loves the book, and has even started to "read" it to me by memorising the words.

Excellent first book. My daughter is 16 months and loves this book its always the first one picked from the book shelf.I think its the fact it is a handy size, brightly coloured and has flaps that she can lift. I love it too the rhymes are hilarious. Thoroughly recommend it.

On the surface One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish, the third Beginner Book that Dr. Suss (Ted Geisel) wrote, might appear to be a book of merely counting, colours, opposites and other concepts. The book revolves around the motto of "funny things are everywhere", and the fish in different guises are but the welcome mat to this wild, weird world. The creatures and crazy situations in the book (Yink, Yop, Ying, Gack, Zans, etc) are designed to encourage readers to embrace the world in all its quirkiness and diversity, and there are small sentiments peppered throughout the book such as "These things are fun, and fun is good" and "If you wish to make a wish". This book may be plotless, but the theme of funny things and embracing the world help ... Read More:
