It hasn't got mirrors it has bits of tin foil which give you a headache, it's like looking in the funny mirrors at the fun fair. Don't bother buying.

This was the first book we bought for our baby and he has been interested in it since he was quite young (after ignoring it the first couple of times he saw it).
It's a small book so he can hold it (and I can slip it into my handbag and have it with us when he next wants it). It only has a few pages, so I do understand some other reviewers' comments about value for money. However, for our son it has proven to be excellent value for money as it's one of his "comfort objects" that will make him feel better if he's unhappy, distract him if he's irritable and generally entertain him.
Although there aren't many pages, several of the pictures are quite detailed, so we have lots of "conversations" about what the baby is ... Read More:

I fell in love with this book on first sight, my four-year-old son has taken a little longer but now he loves it too.
It is a beautiful book - consisting of six nicely reproduced Van Gogh pictures each one based on a different colour (red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple).
It is wonderful to sit down with my son and explore the pictures and their themes. The text consists of some questions and observations but the text is just a starting point, there is huge scope for digression and discussion - very educational and great fun.

These books are a fantastic partner to the range of baby einstein videos. My daughter recognised quickly the characters. The pictures are bold and bright and grabbed her attention. The poems are catchty and engage my daughter. She has enjoyed looking for shapes in the pictures and I have pointed out the shape words in the text. A must for toddlers and parents.

This is a really good book as the pictures are bright and colourful, there are rhyming words, with the added bonus of lifting the flaps which my son adores!

Fantastic real images of a wide variety of animals with sections for your little one to touch to feel the different textures of the animals hide or fur.
Strong laminated card to withstand the big baby chewer and with soft corners making it easy for your little one to hold and great tips on the back on how to introduce the cards to your little one.

For my 10-month-old daughter, this book is her favourite. She loves the illustrations which are the usual cheerful and colourful Baby Einsteins-style, with happy-looking cows, tigers, penguins and so on. What really does it for her, though, is an adult making the relevant animal noises (she giggled for the first time in her life to me buzzing like the bees in this book).
My baby daughter is obviously still too young to understand and answer the five questions - based on counting - asked on every page (but one) of this 8-spread-book. The questions only go up to number five, they are quite simple, for example "How many suns can you see" and "How many ears does the cow have". The correct answer is always displayed numerically next to the ... Read More:

A fantastic little book for little people. My baby loved the different format dogs are present in this highly simulating book. used it along side the other books and videos in the baby einstein series. A must to stimulate little minds.

Even though the book is recommended for children 18 months +, I bought it for my 10-month-old and she loves this book!
There are four spreads in Baby MacDonald, each with an illustration of a farm and a different farm animal. The illustrations are a mixture of real-life photography and the usual Baby Einstein cartoon, so very vivid colours that are so attractive to babies. By moving a special disc, your child can peek at different animals through a hole in the disc - these disks are easy enough for my daughter to use and she loves this feature. The disks and the whole book, in fact, are very sturdy, high quality.
All-in-all, a fantastic book for little ones: wonderful pictures to look at, and a special feature to practise hand-eye coordination ... Read More:
