It is a good book to get you started. Covers alot of the models in NLP and is set out so its easy to read and understand. But as i said a very basic book.
If you want some good advice as a rule of thumb on getting books on NLP avoid the new stuff. Stick to the earlier books by Bandler preferably the first ones for e.g 'From Frogs to Princes ( is a must if your serious about this subject ) not only are they humerous but are like the bible of the subject and come from the pioneers, the fountain of knowledge. Derren Brown will even give you this advise also.

I bought the two earlier editions of this book, but I wasn't sure I was going to get this new version, as the 2nd hadn't really added anything much, other than the 2005 chapter. But when I saw this new 2007 book, I was really impressed with the expansion of the Eurostats and the new 2006 chapter. Plus, the annoying errors from the first book seem to have all been corrected, which is welcome in something that really is the definitive guide to my favourite show. I really like the Lordi cover too! Really recommend this book to any Eurovision fan as a must have and a great book for anyone to read in general.
It you're interested in any aspect of the application of NLP in a training or teaching context don't even think about looking at anything else until you've read this book.
Although the style is, as in Introducing NLP, a little dry, this book reaches the parts that other books don't even mention. Both Joseph O'Connor and John Seymour have years of experience in this field so they tell you what you really need to know.
After 5 years reviewing books on NLP I have yet to find one which beats this in its subject area. Buy it. Read it. And enjoy using your newfound skills.

For the student of Environmental Archaeology O'Connor and Evans book stands as possibly the first work they should read to introduce them to the field. Written in a well presented and clear manner it provides an overview of many issues and themes in Environmental Archaeology. In its four sections the book introduces the reader to areas they will need to familiarise themselves with if they intend to study the subject at university. Section one discusses the meaning, study and approach to the environmental from a biological and archaeological point of view. Section two covers the environmental formation processes which affect sites. Section three the procedures and method of sampling sites. Finally section four discusses the interpretation of environmental ... Read More:

The Spanish guide is written for the examining body OCR, however I feel you do not have to be studying the OCR syllabus to benefit from this book. It offers a wide variety of information from essay writing, to preparing for the oral examination, which always seems to be a very daunting part of the Spanish syllabus. The book is very in-depth and should only be used by confident Spanish studiers advancing from GCSE. But don't panic if you are at the beginning of you're A level course and using this book. It will slowly become more obvious of the genius of it, and hopefully you will start to become a fluent user of the language. Overall, a well written, very interesting, but slightly overwhelming book, GOOD LUCK!

As an ECDL Tutor I am very disappointed with the latest syllabus 4 versions of this book, both XP and 2000, particularly Module 5 which is short on explanation and high on errors. I loved the Syllabus 3 book which seemed to have been tested and proofread much more thoroughly and even recommended the book to a number of people to buy despite its relatively high cost. I feel that the Syllabus 4 books were rushed out to meet the demand for Syllabus 4 courseware and have not been tested properly. Some modules are exceptions with the Module 4 part being well written with exercises that follow a logical progression. I have spent not an insignificant amount of money on various Blackrock ECDL books on the basis of my satisfaction with the first one and am left ... Read More:
