Oso Pardo is a fabulous way to teach children colours and animals in the Spanish language. Many people will be aware of the English version and the translated is just as great. I read it to my 2 year old daughter almost daily and she loves it. I thoroughly recommend it for anyone teaching their child Spanish or even for parents who would just like their children exposed to the sounds of another language. It's very simple to read and the pictures are beautiful.

After using this book to revise for my unit 1 exam, i found out that this book is for the purpose of class work and other activities, and that three quarters of the stuff in the book, you dont need to know for the exam. However the book does have good picture drawings and clear information,i think it's directed at visual readers especially. Still this book is good, but seriously dont use it as a revision guide, use the cgp AQA spec A one - its REALLY good!!!

A New Introduction to Human Biology (AQA Specification A.)

Having just completed my AS level year in human biology, in hindsight i am not happy with the actual content and descriptiveness of this text book. My college used it as a bible, and all were encouraged to get one. It gives simple definitions, which are easy to learn, but dont give enough detail and explanation if you want to get top marks in your exam paper. I wwould reccommend this book to anyone, as an average aid, but its really over-rated!

The Arriva Bus Handbook 2008 (Bus Handbooks)

Very poor this year.
About 50 pages of the book are taken up by foreign fleets which are likely to be of very little interest to most readers, and even those who collect foreign vehicles would choose a more comprehensive book. The photograph selection is diabolical, for the London fleet (for example) there are THREE pictures of Wright bodied B7's, THREE Plaxton bodied Darts but only ONE Routemaster picture and not a single Olympian picture- this hardly represents the Arriva fleet in London as I know it!! Come on Potter, lets ditch the Portugeese rubbish and get a few more pictures of home grown favorites instead for our money, the picture on page 160 is quite positively the worst ever photograph I have seen published in ANY book!
