LeapFrog Learn & Groove Bilingual Counting Maracas

I brought these for my niece and guess what? She absolutely loves them. She can spend a considerable amount of time banging them together, switching it on and off, watching the lights change colour and listening to them. When she is being a bit difficult , I give her the maracas and it does the trick.
I think that they are a great purchase.

Leapfrog - Alphabet Pal

I bought this for my one year old niece and made the mistake of showing it to my husband. After 5 minutes, he decided that our 2 month old baby loved it and that Isabel couldn't possibly have it.
At 3 months old now, Bobby is facinated by it and is just starting to reach out for toys. I can't wait for him to get into it and I'm sure he will love playing with it for a good while.

N.B. The first thing my intelligent, mature husband tried was making it say a 'rude' word (e.g. pressing 's' and 'x' in quick succession). It giggles and says 'that tickles! He's now trying to find as many words as he can to tickle it!

OUr son started playing with this toy that we got as a present since he was 3 months, now almost 1 year old still loves the different types of music. This toy has been with us everywhere! Only cons is that is difficult to wash

Roll & Rhyme Learning Lion

This is a wonderful toy for a baby. The lion's tummy contains a spinning wheel showing 2 pictures: a day and a night scene. When this wheel is spun onto a picture the tummy lights up and music is played. The good thing about this is that the action required to make the lights and music start is very basic and so my son has been able to do it by himself since he was 6 months old (an age at which other musical/light toys are still often too hard for the baby).

We play with this toy as part of his bedtime routine as the nighttime songs are quite soothing. We also place the lion in his cot within his reach so he play with it. We often wake in the morning to hear the lion's music playing!

LeapFrog LeapStart Bilingual Learning Table

We bought this table when our son started pulling himself up (before walking), and one of my key concerns was that the table couldn;t topple over. Looking at other tables, I had my doubts, but this one has been great; really safe and a big hit! Loads of different sounds with a wide range of switches / flaps / keys / rollers to activate them, requiring a range of actions from the baby. My only issue is with a purple-coloured flap that took about 30 seconds to get pulled off (and is now lost!). Apart from that, it's highly recommended!

I just bought this for my 1 year old daughter for her birthday. We've only had it a couple of weeks but I'm really pleased with it so far. It was a bit of a gamble as I couldn;t really get an idea of what exactly it was from the descriptions but I had nothing else in mind so decided to give it a go. Me and my husband played with it for about half an hour before wrapping it up as it's quite addictive. It basically just has loads of things to fiddle with - which of course all small children love to do. The brightlings are 3 balls with faces on and when these are dropped down the hole in the top to come out the bottom and you are rewarded with a sound. Roll & Rhyme Learning Elephant

My Mum brought this for my daughter's 1st Christmas despite her being 7 weeks old and it's recommended for 6 months +, however my 2 and 3 year old children were enthralled with it. Now my daughter is over 6 months I've given it to her and she's fascinated with it, her motor skills have developed enough to roll the tummy and she babbles away to it happily. The limited rhymes can get a bit annoying for parents but the same can be said for most toys.

Well worth £10, I'm getting the lion next.
