I was never an apple fan so never bought one but when I saw this I had to have it, with the software upgrade it is great. You can find your position on google maps (providing your in wifi range!), you can check the stockmarket (again only in wifi range), you can write notes, play games, look at photos (but not take them), listen to music, watch youtube, browse the internet. I mean this really is a spectacularly versatile unit. 16 GB was enough for me as my music range is limited but for someone who has a wide selection of music this may not be enough especially if you have alot of other files on there.
