. Philips PET1030/05 - 10.2inch Portable DVD Playerfrom: Philips May 08, 2007 This product looks great - Philips are still obsessed with Apple's design principles. The sound quality and screen quality are significantly better than my previous 7" toshiba portable. It plays like a proper DVD/TV combo - you'll find that the 10" screen is big enough to use as a kitchen or sideboard DVD player. The build quality is OK - the lid snaps shut a little too sharply and you have to dig your fingernails under the lid to prize it open. The swivel screen is a nice idea, but I'm concerned that with use it'll be the first part of the product to fail.
