The sound is warm, clear with a great amount of bass and they are very comfortable to wear. However, these are my first set of cans and i opted for the open back because i read it had better bass response, but did not realise just how much sound actually passes through open-backs. It doesn't matter how loud you have these, EVERYONE can hear what you are listening to. This may not be a problem usually, but on the morning commute, you can get some annoyed looks. Also, the sound comes back through to your ears just as easily, so you can hear eveything around you.
