. Sony WM-FX290 Silver Cassette Playerfrom: Sony January 02, 2004 Although FM reception is good, I found AM very poor - lots of noise and virtually no reception when product is held upright. Tape quality is good as expected. Controls are fiddly - too few buttons. Battery life good, especially considering only takes 1 X AA. Design of battery compartment poor though - after using for about 18 months, broke after dropping a couple of feet, rendering it virtually unusable. Would not buy this product again. |
