. Mephisto Chess Trainerfrom: Saitek My 8 year old wanted to learn how to play chess! - however I didn't have the time to sit with him every day and play. This 'toy' has answered my prayers. The easiest level frequently lets him win as the computer plays random moves every now and then, thus making 'mistakes' which he loves. He now plays against his action man and toy dog, and so has established a league table. We are not hot chess players but enjoy a game as a bit of family fun. This is an ideal item if you just want to get on and play. It also remembers where all the pieces were if you have to turn it off mid game, and equally if the board gets knocked, just press the button on the side and it will tell you where the piece was placed. - just make sure you notice the difference ...
