Video Games : Tomb Raider (N-Gage)

- Controless!!!
I played and collected all the Tomb Raider games for the PC and the first has always been my favorite. I got the N-Gage version so that I could re-live the experience on the go. The graphics are great but the control is so poor that I lost interest after the first level. The auto run feature truly sucks. You press forward and when you release it Lara continues running. You have to press forward again to stop her. It's a nightmare all round! Why change a perfect format?

This game still looks terrific despite being many years old.
Even so, this game now features auto run for Lara and when you have to negotiate small cliff faces on the n-gage screen this is incredibly frustrating as she just keeps on running like a lemming over the edge after just one small tap on the buttons.
Despite still being a cracking game it does not really port very well over to this console/phone.

When i first heard that you could play tomb raider on a mobile phone i immedialty assumed that it would be like that dutty game for the game boy color, Then one day i was walking past a games shop and i see a big sign in the window sayin Nokia N-gage so strolled in to take a peek and when i got on the game (despite the fact my neck was hurtin because it was to low down)
i was realised that this wasnt a psx connected to a mini tv that it was playin directly off the phone and i was truly amazed the 3-d graphics were probably better than on the psx and even though the controls were a little difficult i found myself playin on the game for nearly 2 hrs in the middle of a shop this is a must have item for the nokia n-gage

This is the first game I have got and is simply brilliant.The graphics are better than any ps1 version and the storyline is engrossing.A must for any serious gamer.
