Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Pales in comparison to it's predaccessor (CONTAINS SPOILERS)
I admit GoldenEye was done for the much more powerful N64 but the Playstation was capable of some great games like Metal Gear Solid. In some ways it's like Metal Gear in the way you are working for the government against international villains (of course) and are thus advised to use stealth as much as possible. Theres also some nice women and gadgets too.

That's about as much this game has in common with Metal Gear though sadly game-play wise. Graphics are appalling at times whilst mediocre at others, there are graphical bugs galore and the A.I. is pathetically poor. Some bad guys blow themselves up when they should be aiming at you! Controlling bonds car in one level isn't great either and it looks like a shoe box but then maybe I'm being picky as it's PSone. Still the game is poor with bad guys still running around in circles (something that happened in GoldenEye N64, 18 months approx prior to Metal Gear and that didn't happen in Metal Gear as such.) Some of the characters don't even look like their counterparts (most notable with henchmman Stamper) in the film and Paris survives!

Only buy this if you are a true Bond fan and want to get it for the sake of adding it to the shelf.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Anyone noticed this game can't be completed?
I bought this game a couple of years back before it went ot Platinum and thought that on the whole it was a good game (not as good as Goldeneye however). I would have given this game maybe 3 or 4 stars, but there are some pretty major bugs with the game that stop you from actually completing some levels, suchas, not being able to open the safe door to get the encoder out, bits like that. It's only saving grace is having a cheat to complete a level for you, so in effect, you can skip the buggy bits of the game. Shame too that it doesn't have the original actors voices. This game could have so easily been a classic if they'd given it a bit more thought, and tried playing it before they put it on the market!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Bond , James Bond
O.K , they're not the real actors or actress's voices , the graphics are fairly sluggish and the controlls take a bit of getting used to . But it is a very enjoyable adventure game . The bossses are easy to kill and there is some really good cutscenes . There are scenes from the film (the TND song , the plane , the badguys to say a few) . I don't know why everyone disses it as it is a good game.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - If I could... I wouldn't
I am what I would say is a big 007 fan, i have collected all the movies and although do not own a N64 myself have played Goldeneye in both single and multiplayer modes on a regular basis. Therefore you could understand my excitement when Tomorrow never dies was relesed on the playstation! I however was sadly disapointed with both graphics and playability, as i found that James was very hard to control. The wepons that you can use are rubbish. And i'm positive that it's not Pierce Himself who is playing the voice of 007! However i do believe that the right move was made when they decided not to have this adventure in the first person mode because i believe this would have made it even more shabby than it already is. For this game i would have preferred to see the gaming angle of Meatal gear solid of resident evil! The only perk for me was actually playing the role of 007 and roughly following the movie script!
