. PURE Chronos CD DAB/FM/CD/MP3 Stereo Clock Radio (white)from: Pure August 29, 2007 I found the headphone socket is not of the same high quality as the rest of the unit. You have to play arround with it to get it to work and it tends to jam. Mechanicially its not solid. I used Dell and Sennheiser phones, both had problems. As a general grip about Alarm/Radios including this one. They all seem to be designed to cut the alarm sound over to the headphones when inserted. To my mind the alarm should always be on the speakers regardless of the use of headphones. Otherwise you are probably going to miss it! |
