Epson Stylus RX585 All-in-One High Quality Photo Printerfrom: Epson August 14, 2007 I bought this printer as a replacement for the Epson R200 which was a fantastic photo printer for 4 years (until the print head started playing up). Having read loads of reviews singing the praises of the RX585, particularly for its photo printing quality, I opted for this model. What a disappointment! The photos I printed intially on glossy inkjet photo paper were very grainy in appearance and colours (especially black) were poorly matched to the actual colours, with the black printing as red. However, once I used Epson's own premimum glossy photo paper prints are perfect and would give photo labs a run for their money.
