It does everytyhing it says on the box. Picture quality is great in all formats including digital TV.I bought the Shinco freeview add-on(although not cheap)and was supprised at how easy it was to set up. using the given arial it picked up 30 stations, however this only worked in some rooms within the house. Fixing an ordinary portable TV arial solved this problem. The player is well built with many accessories, remote control,2 pairs of ear phones etc: well designed carry case which lets you included all the extras.
