Belkin 802.11g Wireless G USB Network Adapter for Win 98SE/2000/ME/XP/Vistafrom: Belkin Components September 27, 2004 Speaking without hyperbole, I think I can say that out of all the equipment I have bought throughout my life, from toasters to CD writers, this is without a doubt the WORST thing I have ever had the misfortune to waste my money on. With the computer in one room and the wireless router in just the next room, I have never had a signal strength stronger than "poor". My flatmates use different wireless cards and have no problems (just in case you think it's the router). As an experiment, I placed the wireless adapter right next to the router, as in four inches away, and it still couldn't find the network.
