The Study Skills Handbook (Palgrave Study Guides)

I have read quite a lot of Palgrave books particularly on English literature and they are usually outstanding. I bought this book because it was highly recommended by others on this site.

Please see my review of "The Good Study Guide" and "The Arts Good Study Guide" which have both been given five stars by me.

Everyone has their own taste and I strongly disliked this book. I thought that it was very long-winded and I hated the "busy" layout which made the book inflexible and difficult to adapt to one's needs as all the grids and boxes were very off-putting and prevented one from taking command and imposing one's own structure on the work.

I don't recommend this book at all.
