The second and much more expanded expansion for Sid Meiers Civilization IV, Beyond the Sword, once again adds an incredible amount of depth to game play. It also includes all of the Warlords expansion, at the exception of the scenarios, making it the better expansion pack overall. As well as including the benefits of Warlords, Beyond the Sword (BtS) features new leaders, technologies, units, wonders, scenarios, mods (both player and programmer-made), civilizations and rules as well as much more extensive espionage options. Some of the most notable new features are the addition of random events, which though generally negative, can occasionally have important religious, diplomatic or economic implications. The addition of the Apolistic Palace ... Read More:

I'm not a fanboy of some other MMORPG. I have World of Warcraft and have played it for about two months on and off. I've found it extremely boring in many different ways and the fact that you must purchase the core game along with paying a $15 per month / $180 per year / $360 per two year subscription fee makes it even worse. No way am I going to spend that on a game! I've already spent about $50 to play it for two months and spent hours downloading patches that never functioned properly. There is server maintenance that gets very annoying and happens frequently along with patches that download via a P2P system at an extremely slow rate and everything else is just annoying.
The community on World of Warcraft isn't that great. People are rude ... Read More:

As a long time Heroes of Might and Magic player I was delighted by version V and its expansions. I was disappointed with version IV but the series more than redeemed itself with this version. It would be hard pressed to top version III for multiplayer but I didn't play any to know for sure. For single player, version V is my favourite of the series and has the best campaigns. It has a vastly improved skill tree over all previous versions.

This gets a lot of really good reviews. I don't like it very much. It's got a lot to do, which is good, but each quest doesn't seem as rewarding because there are so many. It's hard to find people and places. But, you can go into different professions, which is cool. I like to steal things. And it's realistic; if they can see you taking things, they attack you and call the guard. Then you get arrested and have to return everything and pay a fine. But if you do it in a separate room, it works pretty well. And there are many different items and creatures, and you get prizes specific to the animal you kill. I just got lost and couldn't really get attached to any of the characters. I like to get a feel for the people in the game, and I want motivation to save the ... Read More:
