Many are going to find this review almost sacreligious, but I found FF7 incredibly boring. I like a strong storyline and relatable characters. FF7 had a shaky and inconsistent storyline to begin with, made even weaker by the game's constant veering off onto side stories, some of which had no bearing on the main story or to each other. To me it felt like a bunch of random small games strung together to make one long game, not like a cohesive story that was woven together well. The characters didn't develop to the point that I felt like I knew them or wanted to know them, in fact I found myself unable to care what happened to any of them. This game is awesome, for it's 8 player games, and for it's innovation in game style! ^^ When you think about it, it's been a long time since the first mario party... but still, it gives a whirl to my lil parties! ^^

...and the game speaks for itself. This is one of those adventures that you will always remember. It has the feeling that Zelda: Ocarina of Time had when you first booted it up. You suddenly realize durring the introduction, that you will be able to explore this massive world at your own leasure. The controls may be funky at first, but stick with them and you'll slowly realize that they make sense. The story is certainly epic, but isn't told through glorious cutscenes, but rather, by the same way an archeologist finds an epic story. This is a great game for all ages. It is challenging, making it very addictive. I couldn't put this game down since I got it! However, I did get sick of it, and the levels can be very repetitive. The 3-D effects are average as well.

Compared to Road Rage--make sure you read my review on that game too, by the way--this game is gold. Unlike Road Rage (another Simpsons game), this game is more challenging, and you are capable of a wider range of places to drive to. Also, you don't only get to drive, but you can walk around Springfield as well! And if that's not enough for you, there are over 30 different vehicles to choose from by the end of the game.

I've adored FFVI since it was released as FF3 in North America. I also loved everything I heard about FFV, so I bought Anthology when I found it. I haven't regretted it for one minute. If you like true RPGs then you will love this set.

FFV is amazing. You can probably find storyline summaries, so I'll just say that the graphics were state-of-the-art in their time, the storyline is great compared to some of the more modern Final Fantasies, the characters are cute (although Faris' pirate accent can get on your nerves), the music is fantastic, and the job system is the best ability system in any FF to date, IMHO.

I ran into a problem on the Save screen on my PS2, but I went into the menu and changed the Disc Speed (I run a PS2 Slim, on PS2 original I believe ... Read More:

Now that we are all in University and many years have past, WE STILL PLAY THIS GAME!! Its awsome. Just kick back, relax, call a few buddies and battle it out. Excellent game.
