From appointing government ministers to appointing Feild Marshalls and subordinates and directing scientific research to make the armies you build more lethal, you will experience a great deal more with this title than you ever will with any other title that I have played for Mac, and I am a pretty big WWII gaming fan. Be forewarned though, this game is not for the faint of heart and not without some problems, as mentioned in the previous review, but for the most part the game is a hugely absorbing undertaking, and a must for anyone who finds the subject matter interesting. XIII (Mac)Childrens Toy Shop > Video Games > Mac Games from: Feral Interactive May 07, 2004 This is a game you could show non gamers and not feel nerdy in the slightest due to the fact that it is a well drawn 50's comic book story in game format, quite extraordinary! The music is good and touches such as close up squares showing the detail of characters demise add to the proffessional quality of this game. It is quite simply the most visually inventive thing to have been made in the history of gaming. |

DiabloChildrens Toy Shop > Video Games > Mac Games from: Vivendi Universal Interactive October 07, 2002 Let me first say, Diablo may be over 10 years old, but its still great for hours of enjoyment! My boyfriend owns the game and turned me onto it, and WOW! I couldn't believe how great the graphics were for such an old game. The story line rocks as well. You have to journey to the depths of hell to kill. Diablo has escaped from hell and is destroying the town. You get to choose from three types of characters to complete your quest: the Warrior, Rouge, or Sorcerer. The great part about this is that once you beat the game, you can try the other types of characters. Love the story and the game! Highly recommended! |
