Other reviewers have already written how bad the gameplay in the various stages is. I played on Hard difficulty and I did have a little bit of a challenge at the beginning of the tribal and civilization stages. But once you bribe all the other tribes, and once you figure out which cities the dominant civilization is going to attack you take over your continent you've pretty much won. Its not really that hard.

The AI is so stupid, you can send your tanks to destroy your rival's tanks as they try to take over a city and they won't attack you.

This game is DRM infected, therefore it is defective by design. This game has imposed install limits that limit how many times you can install the game on your own computer. It also installs virus like Securom software into your computer that is designed to monitor your usage of the game and subvert control from your computer. You can not uninstall the software and it can have drastic effects on the performance of your computer. EA is planning to release all their titles with this software and the only way to stop them is to boycott their software and write to the developers telling them why you will not be purchasing their products.

This is an amazing game for any older kid, teen, or adult. The game play is simple to learn, however the game is much easier after you have played for awhile and become comfortable with the controls. If you are a fan of The Sims , you will be absolutely blown away by the better realism. The new Sims are smarter, and the amazing graphics make them look even more like real people. Also, your Sims now grow older and change. A female sim now has a gestation period before she has a baby. A Sim may be created at any life stage in create-a-Sim, and a baby born during the game will go from baby to toddler to child to teen to adult to elder. I had Sims 2 for my PC and then switched over to a Mac OSX and bought Sims 2 and Sims 2 Pets. I enjoy the game and haven't had any difficulties loading it or running it. There hasn't been any crashing just hours upon hours of fun. I can't wait to purchase Sims 2 Seasons.

Over the last 10 years that I first installed STARCRAFT I have replayed it countless of times. Every time a new overhyped game disappointed me, this is one of the games I pulled out of my library to be reminded what GREAT PC GAMES LOOK & PLAY LIKE! (others include UNREAL, BALDUR's GATE, GRIM FANTANGO and SHOGUN:TOTAL WAR)
