Spore is a shadow of what it could be. The game play has been dumbed down and it is now boring and retitive. The only fun part is the creature creation but the design of a creature does not seems to really impact it's success or failure. Add to this a DRM fiasco that only let you install the game 5 times! Save your money and don't buy this game!

I gave it a 4/5 because if you don't buy enough to get the free shipping than you will be paying more in the long run.

This isnt a game review so much as a company review. When i first "preordered" my copy of the game it said "ships in 4-5 days!" now it says 1-2 weeks in addition to the original 4-5days. that's a load of BS if you ask me. this was the first and last time ill ever order anything from Amazon.ca, gg Amazon.

I'm not a fanboy of some other MMORPG. I have World of Warcraft and have played it for about two months on and off. I've found it extremely boring in many different ways and the fact that you must purchase the core game along with paying a $15 per month / $180 per year / $360 per two year subscription fee makes it even worse. No way am I going to spend that on a game! I've already spent about $50 to play it for two months and spent hours downloading patches that never functioned properly. There is server maintenance that gets very annoying and happens frequently along with patches that download via a P2P system at an extremely slow rate and everything else is just annoying.

This is an amazing game for any older kid, teen, or adult. The game play is simple to learn, however the game is much easier after you have played for awhile and become comfortable with the controls. If you are a fan of The Sims , you will be absolutely blown away by the better realism. The new Sims are smarter, and the amazing graphics make them look even more like real people. Also, your Sims now grow older and change. A female sim now has a gestation period before she has a baby. A Sim may be created at any life stage in create-a-Sim, and a baby born during the game will go from baby to toddler to child to teen to adult to elder. this game is great for single player onces u beat it onces tho kill diablo in normal diffaculty i found that i lost intrest in the other 2. only fun i find is online hardcore ladder were u gota work to stay alive couse if u die u cant play ur char again. nice selecction of classes altho like most games its bias to gender. it doesnt allow u to pick wether u want a male or female character. u get what u get. this game is great for fun when one is bored lagy as hell on bnet tho.

way better then diablo
expansion is a must makes game play more fun

This is a very enjoyable and well-finished game. It's aimed squarely at people who like to solve puzzles, but it should also appeal to people who like gadgets and unusual machines.

The puzzles start out very easy, but get more challenging as you go on. The early puzzles are designed to teach you about the user interface, and about the function and purpose of the various crazy parts that you can build into your machines.

Occasionally the solutions depend on the exact placement of parts to get a somewhat 'fluky' result, but usually this is not the case. It's fun to build houses in the game and run The Sims' lives. But other than that it's a pretty dull game. But it's still good to buy in order to see the young Sims go off to University!
