I pre-ordered WotLK and later realised it would be delivered almost a week after the game's launch date.
I was surprised to find it delivered by Canada Post on Nov. 13 - the launch date - without any hassle. I found it on Amazon for $34.99, much less than at most stores.
I've ordered from Amazon before, but have to say I was especially pleasantly surprised with this purchase.

The price is now $29.99 CAD bringing it to the same cost of direct payment on there site.
I gave it a 4/5 because if you don't buy enough to get the free shipping than you will be paying more in the long run.

I'm not a fanboy of some other MMORPG. I have World of Warcraft and have played it for about two months on and off. I've found it extremely boring in many different ways and the fact that you must purchase the core game along with paying a $15 per month / $180 per year / $360 per two year subscription fee makes it even worse. No way am I going to spend that on a game! I've already spent about $50 to play it for two months and spent hours downloading patches that never functioned properly. There is server maintenance that gets very annoying and happens frequently along with patches that download via a P2P system at an extremely slow rate and everything else is just annoying.

this game is great for single player onces u beat it onces tho kill diablo in normal diffaculty i found that i lost intrest in the other 2. only fun i find is online hardcore ladder were u gota work to stay alive couse if u die u cant play ur char again. nice selecction of classes altho like most games its bias to gender. it doesnt allow u to pick wether u want a male or female character. u get what u get. this game is great for fun when one is bored lagy as hell on bnet tho.

way better then diablo
expansion is a must makes game play more fun

This isnt a game review so much as a company review. When i first "preordered" my copy of the game it said "ships in 4-5 days!" now it says 1-2 weeks in addition to the original 4-5days. that's a load of BS if you ask me. this was the first and last time ill ever order anything from Amazon.ca, gg Amazon.

If you have diablo or diablo 2 this is the greatest expansion ever with more equipent characters and a whole new act i would recomend it very strongly.

CAMPAIGNS ARE THE GREATEST!!! I love the story... I want the next expansion pack to be made soon!! BECAUSE THE STORY DID NOT ENDED FOR FROZEN THRONE.. lol, and it's like suspense... "oh gosh, what will happen next?! need... the story to continue +____+''" but the stupid thing is that, they got lazy when at the end, they used sprites to show a battle between arthrus and the demon hunter (I forgot his name ;o;) lol.. at least a CG cinematic!! >O .... geez, lazy people lol-- or perhaps they were running out of time... well, I play so I can watch the cinematics.. =\ ... Ok this game rocks!But there is no point to the game..like why did i play so much i dont know?But to tell you the truth this is the best game i have ever played and i have played a lot and this is the best! Ok there are new stuff on this game that the old one does not have like more heros, more units, everything cost more...But i recomend that if you dont have the original warcraft then dont buy this one because you have to know how to play to have fun.. So make sure you buy this game but dont become addicted like i have.

This game is the first RTS game that I have played along with Starcraft and Lords of the Realm 2. But Lords of the Realm 2 (Starcraft is a whole diffrent stoty) didn't have what Warcraft had. The easy to get used to gameplay with great graphics in terms of running smooth, the very low system requirement, and the satisfaction of the Battle.net. I have not played this game since 2000 (Because my dad broke my CD. Read my Starcraft Battle Chest review.) so I don't know if anyone plays online now but all I know is that I had the most fun playing this game back in 2000. I remember the satisfaction that I had with my friends after beating the opponent with my ogres and the dragons. This game ran fine when I used to have Intel Celeron 400MHZ, 64mb ram, and 56k modem.
