. World of Warcraftfrom: Vivendi Universal November 23, 2004 I'm not a fanboy of some other MMORPG. I have World of Warcraft and have played it for about two months on and off. I've found it extremely boring in many different ways and the fact that you must purchase the core game along with paying a $15 per month / $180 per year / $360 per two year subscription fee makes it even worse. No way am I going to spend that on a game! I've already spent about $50 to play it for two months and spent hours downloading patches that never functioned properly. There is server maintenance that gets very annoying and happens frequently along with patches that download via a P2P system at an extremely slow rate and everything else is just annoying.
