Fire Emblem: Path of Radiancefrom: Nintendo of America October 24, 2005 Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance is a turn-based tactical RPG, in that you only fight battles and don't choose where to explore or where to travel to next, but there's still RPG elements such as levelling up, stats (stats lovers will *love* this game), class changes, etc. The battles are interesting and challenging, and like other Fire Emblem games, if a character dies in battle, that's it - he or she is gone for good. It makes you choose your tactics very carefully, but is also a bit of a headache when you've almost cleared a map that's taken a good 45 minutes to finish (no in-battle saves, except for suspend) and one of your characters die.
